Freelance Marketing Insights Analyst with Qualtrics

Freelance Marketing Insights Analyst (Contract) | Morris County, New Jersey

40 hrs/week | 8-month assignment with potential extension | Onsite 4 days/week

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end marketing and customer insights research projects, from planning and survey design through analysis and presentation of findings.
• Develop questionnaires, discussion guides, and research instruments using Qualtrics and other research tools.
• Conduct qualitative research including focus groups, interviews, and user testing.
• Analyze research results and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Support customer insights workshops, co-creation sessions, and focus groups.
• Manage and maintain the company's insights knowledge management platform.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support business, marketing, customer experience, and product research initiatives.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in marketing research, UX research, or consulting.
• 2-3 years of hands-on Qualtrics survey programming experience.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
• Experience with tools such as Qualtrics, UserTesting.com, and other online research platforms.
• Strong presentation, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience leveraging AI for research operations.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in building materials or related complex industries preferred.

Nice to Have

• Marketing, Customer Experience, or UX Research certifications.
• Experience sharing actionable insights with business leaders.
• Experience managing external research vendors and partners.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
