Our SaaS client, in the home technology space, is looking for an Executive Creative Director to lead their design team.
This role is onsite 3x a week in their Oak Brook, IL offices. The office is not public transportation accessible so a car is preferred, and there is parking onsite. Relocation available for this role for out of state applicants.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Creative Director to lead consumer-facing creative efforts across campaigns, influencers, packaging, retail, social, and digital for the clients house of brands. This role will ensure all of their brands are consistently represented through compelling storytelling and high-quality design execution. This role is responsible for leading an internal design team as well as an external creative agency team in building a function that blends strategic vision with flawless delivery of assets.

Requirements Of The Executive Creative Director
- 10 years of experience in brand and creative leadership, within consumer technology, connected devices, or subscription-based services
- Strong design sensibility with a proven track record of delivering packaging, campaigns, and digital creative at scale
- Experience managing in-house design teams and external agencies/vendors
- Strong understanding of retail and digital creative requirements (Amazon, e-comm PDPs, packaging standards)
- Any video experience s is strong PLUS
- Developing and leading creative strategies across campaigns, packaging, retail, and digital
- Overseeing packaging design and ensure consistency with brand guidelines
- Managing brand identity systems and maintain the digital asset library (DAM)
- Partnering with Integrated Marketing to produce new product go-to-market creative deliverables
- Collaborating with Growth & Performance on digital and performance creative testing
- Overseeing production of co-op marketing creative for retail and trade partners
- Managing creative workflow, agency / vendor relationships, and resourcing
- Monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development p
- Maintaining transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
