What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events Coordinator position at Creative Circle?
Our client is seeking an Events Coordinator. This role is fully onsite in Sunnyvale (potentially some flexibility). You can start as quickly as possible, and the project would be through January 2027.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple events concurrently in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Support events at the Sunnyvale location across multiple buildings, including one large event space, a dome structure for larger events, and outdoor spaces
- Manage event reservations, respond to requests, and maintain the event calendar
- Create detailed event plans and materials, with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint
- Coordinate logistics and event setup in partnership with internal teams, including Facilities and Maintenance
- Support a range of event types, adapting quickly to changing needs and priorities
- Manage intake forms for certain events and pivot to white-glove service when required
- Participate in meetings as needed to support event planning and execution
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 2-3 years of experience in event coordination
- Experience supporting medium to large-sized events
- Ability to juggle multiple events at the same time
- A diverse and versatile background across different types of events
- Enthusiasm for event planning and execution
- PowerPoint experience, with comfort creating event plans and presentations
- Corporate event experience (nice to have)
- Comfort speaking in meetings (nice to have)
- Out-of-the-box thinking and adaptability
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite - possible flexibility)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (flexible - some overtime)
Assignment Duration: 4/20/26 -1/1/2027 (covering a leave with a possible extension)
