What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ecommerce Manager position at Creative Circle?
Our DTC wellness client is looking for an Ecommerce Manager to join their team, hybrid in Boca Raton 3 days/week. This is a full-time role, ideally starting in mid-December.
The Ecommerce Manager will have:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on, dedicated experience managing and optimizing high-growth eCommerce operations
- Expert-level proficiency with both the Amazon Seller/Vendor Central ecosystem and Shopify
- Proven success as a high-impact individual contributor who has directly managed and scaled annual revenue exceeding eight figures in a DTC environment.
- Deep, demonstrable expertise in advanced digital advertising across both Amazon Ads (including DSP) and platform-agnostic tools like Google Analytics and paid social channels.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, including expert-level proficiency in Excel/Sheets for modeling, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both a strategic planning level and a tactical execution level within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
The Ecommerce Manager's key responsibilities include:
- Develop and own the annual, quarterly, and monthly eCommerce sales forecasts and budget plans for both Amazon and Shopify channels
- Analyze and actively manage the end-to-end COGS, shipping costs, platform fees, and advertising spend to continuously improve the net profitability (e.g., Contribution Margin)
- Lead continuous competitive intelligence gathering, executing responsive pricing and promotional strategies
- Strategically lead the phased rollout and market penetration plan for all new product launches across both platforms, coordinating all listing, advertising, and inventory requirements for a successful launch.
- Own the strategy, execution, and daily optimization of advanced advertising tactics on both platforms, including Amazon DSP (Demand-Side Platform) for reach/remarketing and detailed segmentation within Shopify marketing channels (e.g., retargeting campaigns).
- Conduct systematic A/B testing of product titles, key images, A Content/EBC, and bullet points to maximize conversion rates and search rankings on Amazon and product page performance on Shopify.
- Work directly with the supply chain team to refine inventory forecasting models based on sell-through velocity and promotional lifts.
- Lead and execute advanced keyword research and listing indexation strategies to ensure maximum organic search visibility on both the Amazon search engine and the Shopify site.
- Design and automate comprehensive, executive-level reports that synthesize performance data from Amazon Seller Central, Shopify Analytics, and advertising platforms
