Our client, a NYC-based real estate firm, is seeking a Corporate Communications Director to join their team onsite in Manhattan. The ideal candidate is proactive, strategic, and experienced in corporate communications within a fast-paced real estate environment. Real estate experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Communications to develop and execute corporate communications strategies that position the company as a leader in the NYC real estate market.
• Shape executive and corporate messaging, aligning communications with business priorities, managing risk, and strengthening brand reputation.
• Draft and distribute press releases, announcements, and media statements related to development projects, acquisitions, and community initiatives.
• Coordinate with PR agencies to manage media outreach, review external communications, and support high-impact events.
• Serve as a media and community liaison, building strong relationships with real estate journalists and outlets.
• Support internal communications by ensuring consistent updates on projects and public-facing initiatives.
• Research and manage speaking engagements, industry conferences, and awards; create briefing materials and lead submission processes.
• Develop polished PowerPoint presentations for Town Halls, meetings, and events.
• Assist with crisis communications related to real estate projects.

Qualifications

• 8 years of corporate communications experience (real estate required).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
