Copywriter

Our client in the Travel Industry is looking for a Copywriter to work hybrid in Chicago, IL, 40 hours per week, for 6 months, with the potential to extend. 

The Sales team is the largest revenue-generation department at the company. We work closely with departments across our enterprise to create programs and contracts fit for our travel agency partners and corporate clients.

 

Job overview and responsibilities

-Serve as a copywriter for the business-to-business Marketing team. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop written content including white papers, blog posts, executive communications and more.

-Develop copy for social media campaigns, including paid and organic.

-Research and understand the business travel industry and target audience segments.

-Work with external partners to fulfill sponsorship responsibilities, including coordinating advertisements with external agencies, creating white papers, and other content to be used in various stages of the marketing funnel.

-Repurpose content to be utilized in various distribution channels.

 

Required experience:

-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

-4-6 years' experience in communications, social media, marketing, media or a related field.

-Social media tools, platforms and strategy

-Marketing communications

-Executive communications

-Marketing content development

 

Bonus points for:

-3 years airline or travel industry experience, with sales focus a plus

-Marketing automation tools

-Experience with creative design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
