Copywriter, Social Media

Our client, a nonprofit organization based around world preservation, is currently looking a freelance part-time Graphic Designer to quickly turn pre-approved content into engaging visual assets for social media and digital use. This role will focus on producing high-quality, fast-turnaround graphics and light video content to support ongoing campaigns and initiatives.

This is a remote role about 5hrs/week where this person will support ongoing initiatives for social media and other digital formats.

Responsibilities

• Create social-first visual content including Instagram carousels, static posts, and simple motion/video (e.g., Reels)
• Translate written content (blogs, articles, fact sheets) into compelling visual formats
• Execute quick-turn design projects with 2-3 day turnaround timelines
• Produce approximately 2 pieces of content per week
• Ensure all creative aligns with brand guidelines and existing visual systems
• Collaborate with copywriters and internal stakeholders to bring content to life visually

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on social/digital content
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social media content (carousels, short-form video, etc.)
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma
• Experience creating quick-turn, high-quality assets from pre-approved content
• Basic motion or video editing skills preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight timelines
