Content Writer - SEO

Our retail client is seeking a talented Content Writer for a remote, freelance opportunity. This role begins at 20 hours per week and is expected to last 3-4 months, with the potential for extension.

As a Content Writer, you'll be responsible for producing engaging, scalable, and SEO-optimized long-form content that enhances the client's website presence and supports their content strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Create story-driven, long-form content aligned with the existing editorial calendar and brand strategy
• Write compelling landing pages and story-driven website content
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand voice
• Conduct keyword research and integrate SEO best practices naturally into content
• Structure content using SEO techniques (e.g., headers, meta descriptions, internal linking)
• Optimize web pages and blog posts for search visibility and user engagement
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional content writing experience
• Strong proficiency in writing long-form SEO-optimized content
• Excellent grammar, editing, and storytelling skills
