Content Designer-UX Strategist

Position Overview
Our client, a global FinTech company is looking for a Content Designer to join their team on a year long contract. The Content Designer will play a key role in shaping user experiences by applying web content strategy best practices, including usability and SEO. 

This role is ideal for a seasoned writer and strategic thinker who can quickly get up to speed on consumer products, proactively gather product information, and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful content. The position focuses on globalizing content through audits, editing, and creation of new content. The designer will also contribute to U.S.-based copywriting efforts. While fluency in other languages is not required, experience adapting content for global audiences is highly valued. 


Key Responsibilities

• Own content strategy for consumer-facing content, ensuring alignment with usability and SEO best practices. 
• Evaluate, organize, and write content for global and U.S. audiences. 
• Adapt brand tone and voice across international websites (in English). 
• Collaborate with SEO team to implement keyword strategies. 
• Partner with Design to shape layout, interactions, and visual tone. 
• Present work and articulate content strategies to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of experience in web content strategy and copywriting. 
• Proven ownership of content strategy for a website or section of a site. 
• Expert-level writing skills with a strong grasp of tone, clarity, and brevity. 
• Ability to quickly learn and understand consumer products and translate them into user-friendly content.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and usability best practices. 
• Proactive and resourceful in gathering product information from stakeholders. 
• Experience with Figma and basic web production workflows. 
• Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Information Science, or a related field. 
• Experience writing for financial services, payments, B2B or B2C e-commerce. 
• Familiarity with global content adaptation and localization best practices.
