Our well-known client in product manufacturing industry is looking for a Product Manager to join their team on a 5 month contract, with the potential to extend.
In this role, you will help shape and deliver global product and portfolio strategies, working closely with product, insights, and commercial partners. On a daily basis, you will collaborate across teams to bring ideas from early concept through market launch while ensuring strategies are grounded in consumer and market insights.
What You Will Do
- Support the development of global product strategies and line plans from early concept through launch
- Apply consumer, category, and cultural insights to guide product innovation, platform evolution, and portfolio decisions
- Analyze market and competitive trends to uncover growth opportunities and areas of unmet demand
- Collaborate with partners across product development, insights, design, engineering, finance, and legal to advance ideas efficiently and creatively
- Help define market launch direction by aligning product intent, positioning, and storytelling across regions
- Support execution in the United States market through line planning, forecasting, and close collaboration with sales teams to drive strong marketplace performance
- Partner with regional and commercial teams to understand local market needs, retail dynamics, and execution challenges
- Maintain forecasting inputs, development systems, and tracking tools to ensure accuracy across product timelines and financials
- Create clear presentations, frameworks, and narratives that bring product strategies to life internally
- Ensure alignment across teams through consistent communication of priorities, progress, and decisions
What You Will Bring
- Three or more years of experience in product management, strategy, consumer goods, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or a related discipline, with advanced education considered a plus
- Experience supporting product development processes, line planning, forecasting, and collaboration with sales teams
- Strong comfort working with data and insights, with the ability to connect quantitative and qualitative inputs into clear recommendations
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once
- Strong interest in product development, consumer behavior, and portfolio strategy
- Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to influence and partner across functions
- Curiosity and comfort experimenting with artificial intelligence tools to enhance analysis, productivity, and creative problem solving
- Proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet tools
- Adaptability and the ability to support a wide range of product categories and development stages
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
