Art Director, Packaging and Production

Our client, one of the largest CPG companies in their space, is currently looking for a hands on Art Director with a focus on Packaging and Production to join their team.

This role will be ongoing, 40/hrs per week, onsite Monday-Thursday (Park Ridge, NJ) with WFH Fridays, gorgeous office and GYM onsite!

Looking for high energy, leadership, STRONG packaging and production design knowledge to add value to the team!

Reporting to the Creative Director, the AD, Packaging and Production is a hybrid function between Creative and Marketing responsible for ideation of concepts, development, design, and execution of 360 product packaging, display, print collateral and corporate/brand identity.

Responsibilities

• Join the creative marketing team to assist with a wide range of projects, ultimately helping to drive consumer engagement and growth through impactful, creative and motivating design
• Create and refine innovative package design concepts
• Create and adhere to brand identity guidelines, ensuring integrity within and across brands as relevant
• Pre and post production expertise
• Extensive knowledge of printing processes
• 2 D & 3-Dimensional Rendering of Packaging and Displays
• Develop or oversee packaging and display mockups
• Corporate signage
• Digital platform knowledge
• Participate in press runs and/ review proofs
• Visual Trade Show Design & Collateral
• Product photography nice to have
• Collaboration within Creative/ Marketing & Cross Functionally

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts / Graphic Design degree
• 7 years design experience in CPG, Beauty or related field
• Exceptional typography, packaging, layout and design experience
• Experience with Trade Ads, Visual Trade Show Designs & Development
• Software experience: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Bridge, Microsoft Office
• Designs are BRIGHT, FUN, PLAYFUL! Background in CPG/ Beauty/ Fashion would stand out!
