Electronics Engineering Technician PCB Design Focus

Work closely with R&D project team members to develop hardware

prototypes from the ground up. As an Engineering R&D consulting company,

Creare has a broad spectrum of challenging projects to develop

cutting-edge electronic devices and equipment for biomedical, energy,

advanced battery, high-voltage, military, and space applications.

Were looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Electronics Engineering

Technician with a strong background in PCB design and layout to join our

R&D team. In this role, youll work closely with engineers and other

technicians to support the design, procurement, and testing of custom

electronics for R&D and production applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and layout of printed circuit boards using
  
  

industry-standard tools (e.g., OrCAD, Altium Designer, KiCad, or

similar)

• Support schematic capture and component selection in collaboration
  
  

with engineers

• Prepare documentation packages for fabrication and assembly,
  
  

including Gerber files, BOMs, and assembly drawings

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot PCBs, wiring harnesses, and
  
  

prototype systems

• Rework and modify PCBs, including soldering surface-mount and
  
  

through-hole components

• Maintain accurate records of design revisions, build notes, and test
  
  

results

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet
  
  

functional and manufacturing requirements
