Role Description The Crawlspace Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. This role involves inspecting crawlspaces and foundations, identifying moisture, structural, drainage, insulation, and wildlife issues, and documenting findings with photos, measurements, and clear notes. The technician installs and maintains crawlspace encapsulation systems, vapor barriers, sump pumps, drainage solutions, dehumidifiers, and insulation, following company standards and safety guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include using hand and power tools, lifting materials, working in confined spaces, removing debris, and assisting with structural repairs such as floor joist and beam support. The technician also communicates with team members and supervisors, provides professional on-site interaction with customers, and helps ensure each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with basic construction, carpentry, or home repair work, including safe use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in crawlspaces and confined areas, including bending, kneeling, lifting 50 lbs, and tolerating varied environmental conditions.
- Understanding of moisture control, drainage, insulation, or structural support concepts, or willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
- Strong attention to detail for inspections, measurements, documentation, and adherence to safety procedures.
