Compensation: $32.50 – $34.50 per hour

10pm - 6:30am Sun thru Thursday 2pm – 10:30pm Sun thru Thursday 2pm – 10:30pm Mon thru Friday Position Summary
The Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, testing, servicing, and repairing electrical systems on production equipment at the Landover, MD manufacturing facility.
This role supports operational efficiency by maintaining electrical systems, installing new equipment, and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
This is an industrial manufacturing environment with heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, inspect, test, service, and repair electrical systems on production equipment.
Install And Connect New Electrical Systems, Including
Wiring and conduit
Fuses and circuit breakers
Clock circuits
Magnetic starters
Control systems
Maintain compliance with GMP standards and housekeeping practices throughout each shift.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions.
Identify and procure necessary parts for repairs and maintenance.
Repair and maintain electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Utilize computer systems as required for maintenance tracking and documentation.
Work independently and collaboratively to support production goals.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Technical/Trade School certification or completion of an apprenticeship program preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with various power voltage levels.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical controls on production systems and facility equipment with minimal supervision.
Experience working in an industrial environment with heavy machinery.
Strong communication skills.
Proven ability to perform effectively as part of a high-performing team or independently.
Basic computer knowledge.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to work on a production floor where temperatures may vary, and dust particulates may be present.
Prolonged standing and walking.
Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and crouching to service and clean equipment.
Ability to push, pull, and lift materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
