Skylight Installer

Pay

$20/hr-$35/hr

Job Summary: The Skylight Installer position is primarily focused on the professional installation of VELUX skylights and Sun Tunnels for residential customers. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations, while ensuring customer satisfaction. The installer will be responsible for transporting materials to the job site, performing installations, and maintaining a clean work environment. The installer must also comply with all safety regulations and company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other communications.

Responsibilities

• Proper installation of VELUX skylights and Sun Tunnels.
• Transport material to the jobsite that is to be used for each installation.
• Follow established safety regulations.
• Ensure that work area is left clean and free of debris.
  
  

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• One year of previous general construction or handyman experience would be beneficial.
• Ability to use general construction tools, such as drill, hammer, saws, tape measure and snips.
• Project a positive and professional image.
• Overall good work, attendance and safety record.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no major moving traffic violations.
• Must be able to lift, set-up and climb up to a 40' ladder.
• Must be able to work on residential roofs.
• Must be able to lift/climb/stoop with weights in excess of 60 lbs.
• Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position. ,
