Summary
Our client is a growing boutique law firm focused exclusively on plaintiff personal injury litigation. Built entirely through referrals and word of mouth, the firm has earned a strong reputation by prioritizing exceptional client representation over high-volume settlements. Their attorneys are passionate advocates who are prepared to take cases through trial when necessary, supported by modern technology, experienced staff, and a collaborative team environment.
They are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney who can independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who values quality legal work, long-term career growth, and a client-first approach.

Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations. Take cases to trial when necessary. Work directly with clients throughout the litigation process. Supervise and work closely with an assigned receptionist and paralegal. Manage approximately 100 files initially, with an average caseload of 150 files after ramp-up.
What You Bring: Active Connecticut Bar license required. Litigation experience handling plaintiff or defense matters. Demonstrated experience independently managing cases from beginning to resolution. Experience with depositions, motion practice, discovery, court appearances, and negotiations. Workers' compensation experience is preferred. Strong legal writing and courtroom advocacy skills. Excellent client communication and time management abilities. Candidates with proven litigation experience and the ability to immediately take ownership of files are strongly preferred over those whose experience has been limited to settlements or isolated portions of litigation.
Why Join This Firm? Join a growing team of four attorneys with long-term plans for expansion. No billable hour requirements. Dedicated support staff, including an assigned paralegal and receptionist. Technology-enabled practice with a strong investment in efficient client service. Flexible scheduling for personal appointments while maintaining an in-office environment. Bonus program based on net fees generated and additional firm performance factors. 401(k) with up to a 4% employer match. Profit-sharing contributions to the retirement plan, which have added an additional 5% in recent years. Long-term career opportunity with a firm that values tenure, commitment, and professional growth.
If you're an experienced litigator looking for a firm that values hard work, exceptional advocacy, and long-term relationships with both clients and employees, we'd love to hear from you.,
