Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Accurately and efficiently dispense medications.
- Apply clinical pharmacy knowledge to support safe and effective resident care.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy staff, healthcare providers, and facility teams.
- Maintain high standards for medication safety, accuracy, and quality.
- Provide professional and compassionate service to residents and caregivers.
- Work collaboratively with another pharmacist who is always scheduled on duty.
- Follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monday–Friday with rotating shifts:
- 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
- 11:30 AM–8:00 PM
- 1:30 PM–10:00 PM
- Approximately one Saturday every two months.
- No on-call responsibilities.
- Scheduled breaks and lunch.
- Active Arkansas Pharmacist license in good standing.
- 1–2 years of pharmacist experience preferred.
- Sterile compounding experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to medication safety and accuracy.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to pharmacy care.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- $58–$65 per hour.
