SERVICE ENGINEER / FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Location: Grand Island or Hastings, NE

Pay: $20–$30/hour

Work Arrangement: Field-Based with Office Responsibilities

Position Overview

We're seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain commercial office equipment.

Previous experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate! If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy troubleshooting, and are eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair commercial printers, copiers, and office equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, software, and network issues.
• Perform customer-site repairs, installations, and equipment training.
• Complete equipment setups and administrative tasks in the office.
• Manage service calls, documentation, and customer relationships.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in electronics, technology, and hands-on repair work.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds as needed.
• Comfortable traveling throughout an assigned service territory.
• Copier/printer repair experience, technical education, or A certification preferred, not required.
