We are hiring an experienced Senior Maintenance Mechanic to join a high-performing food manufacturing facility in the Greater Boston area. This is a full-time 2nd shift role offering competitive hourly pay, monthly bonuses, and full relocation assistance.
Pay: $36–$50/hr (based on experience) monthly bonuses
Shift: 2-2-3 rotating schedule | 5:00 PM – 5:15 AM
Location: Greater Boston, MA
Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair automated packaging lines, conveyors, PLC-controlled equipment, motors, and robotics Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in a food-grade manufacturing environment Use CMMS to document work orders and maintenance activity Read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics Support equipment installations and continuous improvement efforts Mentor junior maintenance technicians
Qualifications 7 years of industrial maintenance experience (food, beverage, or pharma preferred) Strong electrical, PLC, VFD, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills GMP / cGMP experience CMMS experience MA Fireman 2 License and/or Ammonia Operator 1 preferred Valid U.S. driver’s license Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
