Regional Restaurant Equipment Supervisor Position Summary
The Regional Restaurant Equipment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the repair, maintenance, and installation of a wide range of equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC systems, food service equipment, and beverage systems.
This role leads field service operations, manages technician schedules, and ensures efficient service delivery across a regional convenience store environment. The supervisor relies on technical expertise and leadership experience to guide teams, optimize performance, and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities Field Operations & Technical Oversight Perform repair and maintenance services on refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment. Support and train field technicians to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to standards. Oversee daily service operations in a 24/7 environment. Team Leadership & Scheduling Schedule and assign work orders to Field Service Technicians based on skillset, location, and service priorities. Manage after-hours on-call schedules to ensure continuous service coverage. Provide leadership, coaching, and ongoing performance feedback to team members. Conduct employee evaluations and support professional development. Operational Management Review work orders for completeness and accuracy to ensure proper billing. Ensure all tools, equipment, and service vehicles are properly maintained and operational. Review and approve payroll for field personnel. Collaborate with internal departments including Operations, Fleet, Payroll, HR, and Dispatch. Additional Responsibilities Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED (required) Associate degree or equivalent work experience (preferred) Experience Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in appliance repair, HVAC, or refrigeration. Experience supervising Field Service Technicians. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficiency with smartphones and/or tablet devices. Preferred Experience 3 years of experience managing field service teams. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Background in HVAC/R or appliance repair with leadership training.
