A leading cancer care provider in Central New York is seeking a full-time Radiation Therapist to join its professional and compassionate clinical team.
This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality radiation therapy services in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The organization operates Monday through Friday, with multiple modern treatment locations for patient convenience.

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $37.00 – $52.60 (commensurate with experience).
Responsibilities
Operate linear accelerator, simulator, and x-ray developer under physician direction.
Accurately simulate and administer prescribed radiation treatments.
Utilize strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to identify and target treatment areas.
Apply safe work practices and adhere to radiation safety protocols at all times.
Properly position patients to ensure accurate and comfortable treatment delivery.
Collaborate with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and other team members to ensure quality care.
Train and assist students and colleagues on equipment operation and established procedures.
Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance adjustments on radiation equipment.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and communication related to patient care and treatments.
Foster positive and professional relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required.
One Year Of Experience As a Radiation Therapist Preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, accuracy, and patient-centered care.
