Job Summary
A well-established personal injury firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to manage complex, high-value cases from inception through trial. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in the courtroom, and is committed to delivering exceptional advocacy for clients in both State and Federal Courts.
Job Responsibilities: Serve as first-chair on complex personal injury cases in State and Federal Courts Manage full litigation lifecycle: case intake, investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and post-trial matters Prepare for and litigate trials, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and summary jury trials Conduct and defend depositions; manage written discovery Draft and argue motions, Orders to Show Cause (OTSC), and petitions Develop, execute, and adjust trial strategies to achieve optimal outcomes Review and analyze medical records, expert reports, and other case-related documentation Facilitate and promote settlement negotiations when appropriate Interview and evaluate prospective clients Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients regarding case status and strategy Manage a daily caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work product
Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of first-chair personal injury litigation experience Strong knowledge of State Supreme and Federal Court rules and procedures Demonstrated experience handling complex litigation matters Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills; effective with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment Proven sound judgment and ability to work independently while collaborating with a team,
