Our established private pediatrics primary care practice, operating since 2005 in Homestead, Florida, seeks a full-time pediatrician to join our team. As a member of our highly regarded physician group, you'll provide primary pediatric care services in a modern medical arts building facility. This role entails weekday office hours with no inpatient responsibilities. Additionally, you'll be required to participate in on-call duties via phone one evening per week and one weekend per month. We are committed to serving a diverse, multicultural population, and fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for this position.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary pediatric care to patients in our private practice setting. Conduct routine check-ups, vaccinations, and screenings according to established guidelines. Diagnose and treat various pediatric illnesses, injuries, and conditions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our practice to coordinate patient care and referrals as needed. Participate in on-call duties via phone, providing consultation and guidance to patients after hours as per the schedule. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing concerns, providing education, and promoting preventive healthcare measures. Stay abreast of latest developments and best practices in pediatric medicine through continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of a pediatric residency program. Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida. Board certification in pediatrics. Fluency in both English and Spanish languages, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with our diverse patient population. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, with experience in their effective and efficient use. Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting and manage time effectively to prioritize patient care responsibilities. Cultural sensitivity and awareness to effectively serve a multicultural patient population.,
