Salary
$140-160k base salary (flexible/based on experience) commission full comprehensive benefits
Job Summary
This role involves managing a diverse caseload across a range of civil matters, with an emphasis on delivering strategic, client-focused legal solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience along with an existing book of business.
Job Responsibilities: Manage all phases of civil litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation Draft and respond to discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for admission, document production, etc.) Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents in compliance with applicable court rules Represent clients in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other court proceedings Conduct legal research and analysis of case law, statutes, and regulatory matters Develop case strategies, advise clients, and negotiate favorable outcomes Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support case objectives Organize and manage large volumes of case materials in complex litigation matters
Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active bar membership and good standing in the applicable state Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution Portable book of business of at least $250,000 Strong written, analytical, and communication skills Ability to handle complex legal issues with sound judgment and attention to detail Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment,
