Lead Installer (Doors & Windows) - Paramount, CA
Salary: $30-$36/hr & Full Benefits
Monday through Friday with Local and National Travel
Job Responsibilities: Read and understand shop-drawings and written specifications Receive, distribute, assemble and install windows and doors Maintain and repair windows and doors of previous projects, including onsite diagnosis and in-field problem-solving Use job specific tools for the window assembly, installation, maintenance and repair Maintain a safe and orderly job site including company equipment and transportation Clean up at the end of each work day Work efficiently with other installation team members Accurately clock in and out for jobs and breaks Maintain a positive, professional and motivated attitude even while under pressure Address and report any deficiencies related to rough openings, waterproofing and materials received Climb ladders Utilize lifting devices as necessary Lift and carry up to 50 pounds Follow installation manual and instructions from Team Leader and Supervisor Requirements: Proven record of successfully installed windows and doors or curtain walls Ability to correctly measure rough openings Ability to inspect waterproofing (provided by others) and to accept openings to perform installation Ability to travel within California and out of state on a regular basis for longer periods Minimum 10-hour OSHA certification Forklift certificate is a plus Clean driving record CA state driver license Being bilingual is a plus (English & Spanish) Close to production facility in Paramount, CA,
