Junior Attorney – Equipment Finance & Government Contracts
Location: Naperville, IL (Full-Time, Onsite)

Job Overview
Our client is seeking an In-House Junior Attorney to support legal work related to equipment financing, commercial contracts, and government-funded energy projects. This role will work closely with internal teams on drafting agreements, supporting transactions, and ensuring compliance with finance and lending regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Contracts & Legal Documentation Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and financing agreements Prepare and support equipment lease and loan documentation Review security agreements and transaction documents Assist with structuring agreements for customers and partners Finance & Transaction Support Provide legal support on secured equipment financing transactions Review credit, collateral, investor, and lender documentation Help ensure compliance with lending and finance regulations Government & Energy Projects Support legal documentation for municipal, state, and federal projects Assist with financing agreements for energy efficiency projects Review Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) Corporate Legal Support Conduct legal research and advise internal stakeholders Assist with dispute resolution and collections matters Support compliance and coordinate with outside counsel
Qualifications
Required: Juris Doctor (JD) Licensed to practice law in Illinois 1–2 years of legal experience Strong contract drafting and analytical skills Ability to work onsite in Naperville,
