Position Overview

What You’ll Do
- Provide HIV, STI, and basic health screenings at community locations.
- Perform venipuncture and collect, label, and handle specimens.
- Explain screenings and healthcare services in a respectful, nonjudgmental way.
- Help interested individuals schedule care and keep accurate outreach records.
- Follow HIPAA, infection-control, and patient-safety requirements.
- Medical Assistant or phlebotomy experience, including hands-on venipuncture and specimen collection.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Comfort discussing HIV and STI screening with the public.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work independently in the field.
- $16–$18/hour
