Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their growing team. This role assists with patient admissions, procedures, discharge, documentation, medication administration, and coordination with clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Job Responsibilities: Assist with patient care across pre-surgical, operative, and recovery phases Support providers and nursing staff during procedures Transport patients as needed Maintain infection control standards Assist with chart preparation and documentation Perform clerical duties, including phone calls and data entry Maintain inventory and restock supplies Support compliance with healthcare regulations and HIPAA Maintain safe and clean clinical environment
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Current BLS certification required Certification from an accredited MA program (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA) Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in fast-paced clinical environment Strong attention to detail
