Branch Manager – Heavy Equipment / Forklift Dealership

Compensation
Base Salary: $75,000 – $100,000
Bonus: Profit sharing based on branch revenue growth and profit margins
Estimated $10,000 – $20,000 annually
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Branch Manager to lead and grow a branch for a rapidly expanding heavy equipment and forklift dealership. This role is best suited for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial leader with experience in the material handling or heavy equipment industry and strong knowledge of the DFW market.
This position functions primarily as a location and market leader rather than a traditional people manager. The Branch Manager will take full ownership of the branch’s performance by building customer relationships, driving equipment and service sales, and supporting daily branch operations.
The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, business-minded, and comfortable taking responsibility for growing a branch operation.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
Generate revenue through equipment and service sales (inside and outside sales).
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the local market.
Identify opportunities to expand the branch’s customer base and market presence.
Drive overall branch revenue growth and profitability.
Branch Leadership
Provide direction and support to the sales team, working alongside sales management to guide daily priorities.
Support the parts department and ensure operational alignment.
Collaborate with the service manager and technicians to maintain excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
Represent and grow the company’s brand presence in the market.
Operations & Administration
Oversee general branch operations and office management.
Ensure smooth coordination between sales, service, and parts departments.
Maintain operational standards and support process improvements.
Qualifications
Experience in the heavy equipment or material handling industry.
Strong sales and business development background with a history of driving revenue growth.
Proven leadership and management experience.
Ability to guide teams and support operational improvements.
Administrative experience in a branch or dealership environment is highly preferred.
