Payroll Specialist
Location: Peekskill, NY (On-Site)
Salary: $60-75k/year (flexible/based one experience)

Our client is a leading provider of fine linen rentals serving restaurants, catering venues, hotels, event planners, and conference centers across the hospitality industry.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual (English/Spanish) Payroll Specialist to join our client at their our Peekskill, NY office. This role will focus on full-cycle payroll processing while providing support to HR and Finance functions. The ideal candidate will be proficient with payroll and timekeeping platforms such as Paychex and/or Kronos, and eager to grow into more senior HR Business Partner responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for all employees
Manage and maintain payroll records and electronic employee files
Ensure time and attendance data from Kronos (or similar systems) is integrated properly for payroll runs
Prepare payroll reports and assist with reconciliations
Support the HR Manager with HR operational functions as needed
Aid in month-end and year-end financial close procedures
Assist with routine accounting and administrative tasks
Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Help continuously improve payroll and HR processes
Qualifications
Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
Experience With Paychex And/or Kronos Strongly Preferred
Minimum of 1 years payroll processing experience (HR support experience a plus)
Familiarity with timekeeping systems and payroll platforms
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
