Salary: $110k-$140k Bonus Tort & Insurance Associate Attorney – Fort Myers, FL Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of insurance litigation experience to join their Torts and Insurance Defense practice in the Fort Myers office. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, exceptional legal writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple litigation matters in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal filings Evaluate cases and develop litigation strategies Respond to and manage discovery Prepare for and argue motions Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients Collaborate with attorneys, partners, and paralegals throughout the litigation process
Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of insurance litigation experience Licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent organization and communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Experience Litigation experience in the Federal Court Familiarity with
