What You’ll Do:
- Plan, manage, and oversee facility projects, including renovations, maintenance upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes and regulations.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, making necessary adjustments to maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for potential project obstacles.
- Oversee routine maintenance programs and ensure optimal operation of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, office technology, access controls, and audio-visual systems.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices to enhance facility efficiency.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including project plans, contracts, and compliance records.
- Primarily office-based with regular site visits required.
- Travel may be necessary to oversee construction, buildouts, or facilities projects.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work depending on project timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, project management, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
