Position: Lead Software Engineer – WMOS
Type: Permanent/ Direct Hire/ Full Time
Location: Camden, NJ or Dallas, TX (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer with strong Manhattan WMOS experience to lead the design, development, support, and enhancement of Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions. This role partners with business and IT teams to deliver scalable warehouse and supply chain solutions while providing technical leadership and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, enhancement, and support of Manhattan WMOS.
- Gather business requirements and prepare functional and technical specifications.
- Develop and support integrations between WMS, ERP, TMS, and related systems.
- Design reports and troubleshoot production issues.
- Support implementations, upgrades, testing (SIT/UAT), and production deployments.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations, business users, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in a rotating 24x7 production support schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8 years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Hands-on experience with Manhattan WMOS (Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory modules).
- Strong techno-functional expertise in warehouse and supply chain operations.
- Experience with WMS integrations (ERP/TMS), SQL/PLSQL, and Unix/Linux.
- Experience with system implementations, upgrades, testing, and production support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
