Job Title – Wireless / Microwave Specialist
Location – Midland, TX (Onsite / Field-based)
Role Type – Direct Hire
Must Have Skills:
- 3–5 years of experience with wireless and microwave communications systems
- Strong hands-on skills installing, configuring, and troubleshooting microwave links and networks
- Ability to manage small project teams and multiple jobs simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Excellent documentation and attention to detail; able to complete accurate field reports
Responsibilities and Job Details:
- Lead or support the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of wireless and microwave systems for industrial and oil & gas clients
- Supervise 2–3 field technicians per project in a field leadership capacity
- Coordinate multiple concurrent jobs, ensuring timely and high-quality execution
- Perform minimal tower work (mostly from man baskets and elevated platforms up to 300 ft)
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure project alignment and safety compliance
- Produce accurate, timely field documentation and system reports
- Maintain and operate company-provided tools, vehicles, and safety gear
- Start work daily at 7:00 AM with variable end times; 40 hours/week guaranteed with overtime available
- Remain local to Midland area – home every night with minimal travel required
