Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Assist with hotel setup and breakdown for events, conferences, or special functions, ensuring all spaces are prepared to meet event requirements.
- Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues promptly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas including storage closets, laundry rooms, and utility spaces.
- Handle janitorial tasks efficiently to uphold hygiene standards across all hotel facilities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth flow of operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, and carpet extraction.
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality enhances your ability to meet guest expectations.
- Strong understanding of cleanliness standards and safety procedures in busy environments.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards guest service.
