Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and setting up dining areas to ensure smooth service flow
- Upsell menu items like specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a welcoming attitude and ability to build guest rapport
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of beverage service including cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing bills efficiently
- Culinary experience or food handling knowledge to assist with food prep or sanitation standards
- Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation protocols to ensure guest safety
