Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of all hotel transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA to ensure accuracy of guest accounts and financial reports
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs with professionalism, utilizing phone communication skills and hospitality reservation systems to assist guests efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service that enhances guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Monitor security procedures, including hotel emergency protocols, CCTV surveillance, and access control to safeguard guests and staff during overnight hours
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and reconcile daily financial transactions to maintain accurate records for management review
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight guest requests or property issues
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and client communication to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and guests
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively in a hospitality environment
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guest populations
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations practices, and resort experience is preferred
- Exceptional phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail and operational standards
