HIGHWAY OPERATOR/PATROLMAN
Marquette County Highway Department is accepting applications for a full-time Highway Operator/Patrolman. This position is responsible for maintaining state and county highways, performing snow and ice control operations, operating heavy equipment, assisting with road construction projects, and maintaining department vehicles and equipment.
Starting Wage: $24.59 - $27.48 per hour

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One to two years of experience in road construction, road maintenance, heavy equipment operation, commercial driving, snow removal, or related work
- Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License with Class A, B, C and D endorsements, including air brake and tanker endorsements, free of restrictions
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Availability for emergency call-ins, including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary

This position performs a variety of duties including snow plowing, salting and sanding roads, hauling materials, operating heavy equipment, roadside maintenance, sign installation, culvert maintenance, brush cutting, and assisting with emergency road operations.
Pay: $24.39 - $27.48 per hour
