Join our dedicated team at Camp Spearhead, a renowned summer camp that has been providing recreational opportunities for children and adults with disabilities since 1968. We are currently seeking a Medication Technician for the 2026 summer season. This is a residential position that requires overnight stays from Monday to Friday throughout the summer camp season. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our campers by managing their medication needs and maintaining our Camper Care Center.
Responsibilities:
Receive, store, and administer campers’ medications in a safe and timely manner.
Organize and maintain the Camper Care Center to ensure a clean and efficient workspace.
Assist the RN/Healthcare Manager as needed, providing support in various healthcare tasks.
Perform additional tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience as Spearhead staff is preferred.
Higher education in nursing or a related field of study is desirable.
Compensation:
The position offers a competitive weekly pay of $534, amounting to a total of $5,348 for the 10-week season. Work weeks begin on Monday mornings at 7:30 am and end on Fridays by 1:00 pm.
