CAMP SPEARHEAD FEMALE CABIN COUNSELOR (2026 SUMMER SEASONAL POSITION)

Join our team at Camp Spearhead, a renowned summer camp that has been providing recreational opportunities for children and adults with special needs since 1968. We are seeking a dedicated Female Cabin Counselor for the 2026 summer season. This is a residential position that requires overnight stays from Monday to Friday throughout the summer camp season. As a Cabin Counselor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our campers, providing positive role modeling, and creating a warm, harmonious cabin environment. This position is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our campers while working in a supportive and cooperative camp community.

Responsibilities:
Ensure the well-being of campers and provide positive role modeling for daily living skills and participation in all activities.
Manage the cabin for safety and cleanliness.
Create a warm, harmonious cabin environment.
Work cooperatively with other members of the camp community.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to begin working on May 11, 2026.

This position is considered to be safety sensitive and is therefore subject to pre-employment drug testing and random drug testing.

Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is $534 per week, totaling $5,348 for the 10-week season. Work weeks begin on Monday mornings at 7:30 am and end on Fridays by 1:00 pm.
