- POSITION SUMMARY**:
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Must be able to estimate material and cost of any concrete project.
- Must have experience in determining PSI on each job.
- Must have knowledge of grading each type of soil for use of mesh and rods and the ability to determine what gauge of rods to use.
- Ability to do all types of formwork.
- Experience in putting concrete down in all seasons and the knowledge of when to use chemicals.
- Experience in finishing all surfaces.
- Ability to install all types of metal doorbucks and doors in masonry walls.
- Experience in repairing all types of plaster (inside and outside).
- Experience in laying and pointing stone.
- Knowledge of proper material to use in new and old construction including fireplaces and chimneys.
- Experience in laying brick in new and old construction.
- Knowledge of different types of bricks and where to use them including fireplaces and chimneys.
- Knowledge of all types of block and their proper use.
- Experience in installing and grouting new tile and the ability to repair and grout old tile.
- Experience in using masonry saws for cutting any masonry surface.

- High school diploma and/or trade school certification.
- Must possess five years' or more experience in this trade.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to operate trade-related equipment.
