Licensed Nursing Assistant

Description

Country Village Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Maine, is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions, and support short-term rehab and long-term care plans. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary clinical team in a respectful, teamwork-focused environment that promotes dignity, open communication, and professional growth.
Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
Measure and document vital signs and report changes in condition
Support safe transfers, mobility, and positioning using proper body mechanics
Assist nurses and therapists with rehab-focused care plans
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records
Promote resident dignity, comfort, and independence in all interactions
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies at all times
Observe and promptly report resident status, concerns, or incidents
Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive care environment
Patient care assistance
Vital signs monitoring

Assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Basic wound and skin care support
Observation and reporting of resident status
CPR and basic life support
