Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and hands-on Resident Care Coordinator to join our memory care community in Redmond, Oregon. This role is key to ensuring our residents living with Alzheimer’s and dementia receive exceptional, personalized care in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
The Resident Care Coordinator works closely with the Administrator, nursing team, caregivers, and families to coordinate daily care, support staff, and maintain the highest standards of resident well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee individualized resident care plans in collaboration with nursing and leadership
- Ensure care is aligned with each resident’s cognitive, emotional, and physical needs
- Act as a liaison between families, caregivers, and leadership—providing clear, compassionate communication
- Support, mentor, and guide caregiving staff to ensure consistency and quality of care
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate updates promptly
- Assist with assessments, move-ins, and care plan updates
- Help maintain compliance with Oregon state regulations and community policies
- Foster a positive, calm, and engaging environment tailored to memory care needs
- Step in on the floor as needed—this is a leadership role that leads by example
Qualifications
- Experience in memory care, assisted living, or healthcare (Alzheimer’s/dementia experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of person-centered care and behavior management in memory care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to lead, support, and hold staff accountable in a positive, respectful way
- Compassionate, patient, and calm under pressure
- Knowledge of Oregon care regulations is a plus

Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time position

Pay: $25.55 - $30.77 per hour
