What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at COUNTRY KITCHEN RESTAURANT?
Position Summary: Maintains the cleanliness and sanitization of china, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans and equipment, according to Country Kitchen standards. Restocks all items for the FOH & BOH in their correct locations. Assists the Team in taking care of the Guests Every Visit, Every Day to provide Absolute Guest Satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
❖ Wears approved uniform and maintains appearance according to CKI standards.
❖ Reports to work for scheduled shifts on-time and with a smile.
❖ Has the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
❖ Works frequently in hot, damp environment.
❖ Works frequently with hands immersed in water.
❖ Works frequently with chemicals.
❖ Separates and stacks china, glassware, silverware, utensils and pots & pans. Scrapes and sprays all items. Stacks items properly in racks and runs through the dishwasher.
❖ Uses the compartment sinks to wash large items.
❖ Pre-soaks silverware prior to washing.
❖ Controls china breakage and loss of silverware.
❖ Performs quality checks on work, ensuring all items are clean and without spots.
❖ Empties trash receptacles and places in dumpsters on a regular basis.
❖ Demonstrates Teamwork by keeping restaurant areas stocked with all of the appropriate items.
❖ Possesses a Sense of Urgency when washing and restocking items.
❖ Assists the FOH with pre-bussing, bussing, cleaning, sanitizing and setting tables.
❖ Completes assigned side work duties in a timely manner.
❖ Checks & cleans restrooms; sweeps and mops floors as needed.
❖ Assists in removing debris from the parking lot and landscaping.
❖ Demonstrates good hand dexterity needed to lift, carry and sort items.
❖ Has the ability to continuously lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to reach up to high shelving and stoop to lower shelving, while lifting weight up to 20 pounds.
❖ Has the ability to operate brooms and mops.
❖ Has the ability to take verbal direction.
❖ Basic reading, math and writing skills are required.
❖ Learns and follows sanitation and safety practices required in the Food Service Industry.
❖ Has a friendly personality required to properly interact with Guests and fellow Team Members.
❖ Previous experience preferred, but not required.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
