Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and laundry facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. This role is essential in upholding the high standards of hospitality that our establishment is known for.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly maintained.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in floor care duties, including mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department.
- Inspecting Housekeeping Rooms when Head Supervisor is Off Duty.
Skills
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Experience in floor care techniques and equipment operation.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Custodial experience that demonstrates an understanding of cleanliness standards.
