Housekeeping lead (Must work Weekends)

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Lead who is passionate about maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments. As a Housekeeping Lead, you will oversee custodial tasks, enforce safety regulations, and support a team dedicated to excellence in hospitality and facility management.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks across various areas
• Lead and motivate a team of custodial staff, providing clear instructions, training, and performance feedback
• Ensure all cleaning procedures meet safety regulations and sanitation standards, including industrial and commercial cleaning protocols
• Monitor cleanliness levels regularly through inspections, addressing any deficiencies promptly
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance
• Enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment for all staff
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to schedule shifts, report issues, and implement operational improvements
• Uphold exceptional customer service standards by ensuring facilities are clean, organized, and welcoming for visitors or residents

Qualifications

• Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services with a strong background in cleaning and sanitation management
• Prior supervisory or team management experience within a housekeeping or hospitality setting
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, sanitation practices, and equipment handling
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively
• Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination and customer service interactions
• Familiarity with laundry operations and hospitality environment standards is preferred
• Ability to work weekends consistently as required by the role
