Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of living or working spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchens and bathrooms by cleaning appliances, fixtures, countertops, and floors using appropriate cleaning agents
- Care for flooring through specialized floor care techniques such as polishing, buffing, or carpet cleaning to preserve their appearance and longevity
- Manage sanitation procedures in compliance with health standards to prevent contamination and promote safety
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when required, including inventory control of cleaning supplies and scheduling
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry processes
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving heavy objects when necessary
- Familiarity with housekeeping management tools or systems is a plus
- Previous experience in hotel or custodial environments is highly desirable
