What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeper position at Country Inn and Suites By Radisson?
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned hotel rooms and common areas
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens
- Empty trash and replace garbage bags
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Please note that this position may also involve assisting with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens.
