Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle multiple guest needs efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and overall service quality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate reservation records and update guest information in the system
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to guest safety and security
- Assist with night audit duties as needed, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experience
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management software and multi-line phone systems preferred
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights if necessary
