Position: Café/Recess Aide (.4285)/Clerk Typist (.14), Part Time, Permanent Support Staff (Anticipated)
Location: Newtown Elementary School
Available: 12/15/2025
Hours/Schedule: 4.0 hours/day; 5 days/week (Not eligible for Medical/Dental or Vision Benefits.)
11:00Am - 3:00PM Monday – Friday
($16.46: Recess Cafe Aide, $17.83: Clerk Typist)
Requirements:
- Candidate should have ability to work with elementary students in grades K-6
- Ability to supervise children outdoors during recess and during lunch
- Ability to communicate effectively with teachers and staff
REQUIRED PAPERWORK: In order to begin employment in any PA public school, all employees are required to complete mandatory paperwork. Background employment clearances must be completed within the last year to be valid and include:
- PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
- Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- FBI Fingerprints (Act 114) IndentoGo
Some additional paperwork includes Arrest/Conviction Report form, PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168), physician’s health form and recently completed TB test.
